The way the mother of this family, Tammy, looks and embraces her kids perfectly showcases her spirit. I had the honor of getting my hair cut by Tammy growing up and she always served as a wonderful listener and a great encourager. Since she spent so many years making me feel beautiful and confident, it was a pleasure to do the same for her and her family!! Some of the other things that made this shoot special were the girl’s cute outfits and watching everyone play and interact with sweet little Elliott (and his very cute suspenders).
After knowing and photographing the Lewis family for so long, it is obvious that they are always looking out for each other, even after they have moved to different places over the years. How thoughtful is it that the Lewis kids planned this photoshoot as far as 6 months in advance as a super special Mothers Day gift for their lovely mom!?! The thoughtfulness, intention and love they all have for each other is a joy to capture from behind the lens.
